The automated logistics center is responsible for keeping shelves stocked at 480 EDEKA grocery stores. Every single day we face this responsibility and ensure a smooth technical operation of the system – so that store shelves are always stocked with the everyday necessities.

What is WITRON’s role at the site?
Our team at the site ensures that the high-tech center keeps 480 grocery stores stocked with 10,650 different items in a range of departments. Together with our customers we supply thousands of households with groceries.
How many new jobs are being created?
We are supporting the region and opening up new opportunities with the creation of around 33 new jobs in IT and technical areas including electronics and mechanics.
Where is the new logistics center located?
Our new Neumünster site is located in Schleswig-Holsteins - directly on the A7 exit Neumünster Nord in the outskirts of the city of Neumünster.
