Our client builds on our strengths in the fully automated Marktredwitz logistics center.
The automated logistics center is responsible for keeping shelves stocked at more than 900 EDEKA grocery stores in northern Bavaria, Saxony and Thuriniga. Being dedicated professionals, we keep the entire site running without a hitch every day. Together, we ensure that thousands of people in the region have access to essential produce at all times. This is our mission.

When will the new Marktredwitz logistics center open?
We are looking forward to opening in 2024. In advance of that date, we are looking for enthusiastic colleagues with a love of technology to join our new highly motivated team. Apply now!
What is WITRON’s role at the site?
Our team at the site ensures that the high-tech center keeps 900 grocery stores stocked with 28,000 different items in a range of departments. Together with our customers we supply thousands of households with groceries.
How many new jobs are being created?
We are supporting the region and opening up new opportunities with the creation of around 45 new jobs in IT and technical areas including electronics and mechanics.
Where is the new logistics center located?
Our new Marktredwitz site is located in Upper Franconia, just a few kilometers from our Parkstein HQ. It is easy to find from the A93 motorway.
