As a Technical Service Specialist you will be responsible for helping facilitate the maintenance of an automated material handling system at all our US sites. In this position, you will mentor and coach the site maintenance teams and provide support to the Maintenance Manager in the day-to-day operations of the system. This is a hands-on position that requires a commitment to be present to the floor and be available as a subject matter expert in the repair and preventive maintenance routines. The Technical Service Specialist will travel extensively to our active Sites in the U.S.

Pay: $70k-$90k

As a Technical Service Specialist you will: 

  • Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.
  •  Guide, mentor, instruct and develop electromechanical technicians in the effective preventive and ad hoc maintenance of mechanical and electrical system for proprietary automation systems.
  • Support Maintenance Managers in the communication and implementation of new or updated maintenance standards and processes.
  • Partner with maintenance teams to review, analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to functioning proprietary warehouse material handling system
  • Provide frontline leadership on the execution of extensive projects related to the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of proprietary automation systemsSkills.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in a relevant electrical and/or mechanical role. Construction experience is preferred but not required.
  • Associates degree in industrial technology or electronic engineering and experience working with material handling systems in a light industry or distribution center environment is preferred.
  • Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution center environment strong preferred.
  • Strong electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC and 24V controls) and mechanical skills
  • Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears)
  • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand
  • Familiarity with control technology (PLC/controls/inverters)
  • Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Adaptability to temperature changes in an ambient distribution center
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods; bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50-60 lbs
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 90 feet

Salary Range: $60k-$70k

The Mechatronics Technician is responsible for the completion of on-site support, maintenance, refurbishment, and installation of electromechanical equipment at customer locations.  Technicians are responsible for inspecting existing equipment providing feedback to the customer for actual condition of their system as well as provide a recommended action plan to properly maintain the machinery.  Technicians are also responsible for refurbishing, repairing, and testing existing electromechanical machinery as well as installation of new equipment.

 

As a MechatronicsTechnician, you will:

  • Approach all tasks and situations with a Safety First mindset
  • Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision
  • Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components
  • Perform electrical and mechanical inspections and generate reports based on findings and manufacturer requirements.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Required: High school diploma with at 1-2 years experience in relevant electrical and/or mechanical role
  • Preferred: Associates degree in industrial technology or related field with 2-4 years experience in relevant electrical and/mechanical role
  • Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution center environment strongly preferred

We are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee the installation of electronic systems on our Automated Material Handling Systems at project sites throughout the U.S.  This role ensures the proper execution of all electrical installation tasks and coordinates closely with the GC Construction Manager, Project Managers, and WITRON subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
 Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise subcontractors during electronic system installations and adjustments.
  • Coordinate construction and installation activities, including timelines and milestones, with subcontractors and the GC Construction Manager.
  • Communicate and resolve critical issues related to timelines, safety, layout, and other project concerns with Project Managers and technical leads.
  • Monitor project schedules and contractual deadlines; escalate and coordinate solutions when issues arise.
  • Lead construction meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and maintain construction logs.
  • Prepare and update construction and installation documentation.
  • Perform quality control checks and approve/release electrical or mechanical areas.
  • Brief subcontractors on site codes of conduct and safety requirements.
  • Conduct secondary safety checks to ensure compliance across all construction areas.
 Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an electrical and/or mechanical role; construction experience preferred.
  • Associate degree in Industrial Technology or Electronic Engineering preferred.
  • Experience with material handling systems in light industry or distribution environments is a plus.
 Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong electrical skills (3-Phase, 480V, DC, and 24V controls) and mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with drive technology (motors/gears) and control systems (PLC, inverters).

As an IT Programmer, you will:

  • Working together with the responsible project lead to create technical designs for our existing WiWMS (Witron Warehouse Management System) applications. Areas of work include for example our host interface, order allocation logic, route planning logic, industrial label printer interface, stock management and limited front end.
  • Development, testing, and deployment of change requests, projects, assignments in a collaborative international team environment or working individually on isolated issues.

Salary Range: 50k-70k

The Health and Safety Coordinator supports and promotes WITRON’s established health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment across all site operations. This traveling position is responsible for daily safety walks, managing training and compliance documentation, conducting orientations, tracking PPE and equipment, and investigating incidents. The role also includes weekly and monthly safety reporting, subcontractor oversight, and support during audits and planning meetings. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about workplace safety in an industrial or construction environment.   

  

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Conduct daily safety observation walks to identify hazards and ensure compliance.  

  • Manage site safety documentation, including training records and permits (e.g., hot work).  

  • Oversee PPE and safety asset inventory and distribution.  

  • Investigate safety incidents and near misses, track actions, and follow up on corrective measures.  

  • Participate in and report on weekly GU planning meetings.  

  • Debrief on weekly minutes and safety concerns.  

  • Compile and submit the weekly safety reports.  

  • Deliver Toolbox Talks to reinforce site-specific safety themes.  

  • Manage and track badge distribution and access.  

  • Conduct subcontractor safety walks (minimum twice per week).  

  • Review subcontractor certifications and equipment inventory for compliance.  

  • Maintain incident responder rosters.  

  • Update and maintain the site safety board.  

  • Ensure the site contact list is accurate and accessible.  

  • Participate in phase planning with construction and operations teams.  

  • Review and contribute to the quarterly time-off and staffing plan. 

  

Education & Experience 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety coordinator or equivalent role, preferably in an industrial or construction environment.  

  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.  

  • OSHA 30 preferred. 

  • Experience conducting training, incident investigations, and writing reports.  

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.  

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with multiple stakeholders.  

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. 

  

Scheduling & Travel 

  • Flexibility to work shifts 1st and 2nd shift - operate 7 days a week  

  • 90% travel required

Salary Range: $65k-$75k

The PLC Commissioner serves as the primary Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) technical expert for the support of WITRON’s proprietary automated material handling systems. Collaborating with global business partners and onsite service teams, a successful PLC Specialist will design, test, troubleshoot, and maintain various PLC systems and their related technology.

 

As a PLC Comissioner, you will: 

  • Design, program, test, and resolve faults for PLC-related architecture for automated material handling applications
  • Collaborate with various internal IT professionals to understand the complex nature of WITRON’s robust digital infrastructure and its application to practical solutions for its customers
  • Work with onsite teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Analyze and proffer solutions for new system designs or redesigns of existing systems
  • Approach all tasks with an efficiency and efficacy mindset
  • Act as the SME for all PLC related automation issues
  • Provide critical PLC support for the installation and startup of new WITRON systems
  • Travel extensively in support of onsite team

Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or closely related field preferred; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with PLC programming, especially in industrial applications, is a plus
  • Previous electrical experience is a plus

Requirements: 

  • Basic knowledge of industrial automation
  • Knowledge of PLC programming
  • Understanding of electrical motors and servo motors
  • Basic knowledge of AC and DC control systems
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics (experience with AutoCAD is a plus)
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus

  • Interact with customers in a professional manner
  • Work effectively in team and individual settings

Scheduling & Travel:

  • During the initial training phase, the PLC Specialist will spend intermittent periods of several weeks or months at WITRON Headquarters in Parkstein, Germany
  • Availability to travel frequently to various locations in the U.S., Canada, and Europe (approximately 70% or more)

• Coordinate international shipments from Europe (primarily Germany) to the U.S., ensuring on-time arrival and proper handling.• Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to track shipments and resolve delays.• Maintain visibility of cargo departures, arrivals, and storage availability through shipment tracking systems.• Interface between the customs department in Germany and CBP and customs brokers.• Coordinate U.S. domestic logistics, including storage, inventory release, and outbound shipments to customers or distribution centers.• Track and analyze transportation, customs, and warehousing costs to support budgeting and cost-control initiatives.• Communicate shipment status and cost impacts to supply chain, finance, and operations teams.• Support continuous improvement of logistics and customs processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen compliance.

 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field (preferred).• 2+ years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or import/export operations.• Strong understanding of U.S. customs regulations, international shipping documentation, and tariff schedules.• Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse providers.• Proficiency in logistics management systems (TMS, ERP, or similar).• Strong analytical skills with ability to track and report cost metrics.• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.

As an IT Junior Developer dedicated to our Cardinal Health customer, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our WITRON AIMS solutions. This position combines hands-on development with analytical problem-solving to ensure smooth operations across 50+ sites. As an IT Developer, you will:

  • Develop, debug, and maintain software components for WITRON systems used by Cardinal Health.
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported by customers, performing root cause analysis using database queries, log files, and code reviews.
  • Implement change requests, fix bugs, and create automated tests to ensure system reliability.
  • Support continuous software enhancements and new technology deployments.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to clarify issues and deliver solutions.
  • Gain deep knowledge of WITRON AIMS-WMS and related technologies to provide expert-level support.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills (C++, C#, React, or similar languages).
  • Experience with databases, debugging, and automated testing.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global team.

Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience combined with some educational experience
    • 1-2 years’ of experience with Application Software Development based on Microsoft Client – Server architecture and Databases
    • Experience should include project design, coding, testing, delivery and technical documentation.

Travel:

  • Projects are all over the globe and so is the need see your work in action: Must be able to travel locally and internationally (up to 10%). Travel times fluctuate based on project needs and are always communicated ahead of time. Personal planning is considered during travel planning as much as possible.
  • This is primarily an in-office position. Occasional remote work is available after 6 months and depends on individual work style, performance, and gained knowledge.
