Health and Safety Technical TrainerReporting to the National Training Manager, Canada, the Health & Safety Technical Trainer will be responsible for ensuring that Witron Canada and Witron Service personnel are complying with all local, provincial, and federal regulations as well as with WITRON’s vision for Health and Safety. They will also be responsible of supporting and training local resources across Canada on technical safety-oriented standards.We are looking for a hands-on adventurous individual who is eager to learn and work within a dynamic and growing company. If you possess the will and desire, then this job is for you!Primary Job Functions:Ensures compliance with all federal, provincial, and local regulations and standards involving safety, industrial hygiene and general workplace and fire safety.
Demonstrate leadership in health and safety on all Canadian projects and construction sites.
Actively promote a healthy workplace that is free from workplace violence and harassment.
Ensure the site fulfils their legal and company standard obligations for machine integrity and safety.
Perform Onsite training related to technical health and safety on machines and/or equipment.
Work with different teams and departments on finding solutions regarding safety matters.
Conduct site audits and develop reports on Health & Safety performance and tactical and strategic improvement planning.
Work directly with facility and construction site managers to implement and maintain health and safety procedures with respect to installation of the automation equipment and racking.
Monitor, review and report monthly health and safety performance indicators/measures.
Other duties as assigned from time to time by the Company.
Formateur Technique en Santé et Sécurité
Sous la supervision du Directeur National de la Formation, le Formateur Technique en Santé et Sécurité sera responsable de veiller à ce que le personnel de Witron Canada et du Service Witron se conforme à toutes les réglementations locales, provinciales et fédérales, ainsi qu'à la vision de WITRON en matière de Santé et Sécurité. Il/elle sera également chargé(e) de soutenir et de former les ressources locales à travers le Canada aux normes techniques axées sur la sécurité.

Fonctions principales du poste :
Veiller à la conformité à toutes les réglementations et normes fédérales, provinciales et locales en matière de sécurité, d'hygiène industrielle, de sécurité générale au travail et de sécurité incendie.
Faire preuve de leadership en matière de santé et sécurité sur tous les projets et chantiers canadiens.
Promouvoir activement un lieu de travail sain exempt de violence et de harcèlement.
S'assurer que le site remplit ses obligations légales et les normes de l'entreprise en matière d'intégrité et de sécurité des machines.Effectuer une formation sur site liée à la santé et à la sécurité technique sur les machines et/ou les équipements.
Collaborer avec différentes équipes et départements pour trouver des solutions en matière de sécurité.
Effectuer des audits sur site et rédiger des rapports sur la performance en matière de santé et de sécurité, ainsi que sur l'amélioration tactique et stratégique.
Travailler directement avec les gestionnaires de sites d'installation et de chantier pour mettre en œuvre et maintenir les procédures de santé et sécurité concernant l'installation des équipements d'automatisation et des rayonnages.
Surveiller, revoir et signaler mensuellement les indicateurs/mesures de performance en matière de santé et sécurité.Autres tâches assignées de temps à autre par l'entreprise.
Skills and Knowledge
Canadian Provincial Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations, with specific knowledge of Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and British Columbia normsAdvanced knowledge in electrical safety and machine safety including light curtains, sensors, devices, and guards- (A must)
At least 2-to-3-year experience of Health and Safety work experience
Some exposure in federal, provincial, and municipal H&S requirements and industry standards/best practices (i.e., acts, regulations, codes, standards, and case law)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact and influence effectively with all levels of the Witron organization
Ability to drive a strong safety philosophy and implement programs designed to effectively change behavior and prevent injury.
Ability to learn and independently resolve a variety of difficult situations and problems using timely decision making.
Ability to travel nationally and internationally to various locations for training and exposure to Witron’s international sites.
Valid driver’s license and valid Canadian passport with ability to travel internationally.

Education and Experience
The successful candidate will possess Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety,
Current standing as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or the ability of attaining the designation within the first year of hire.
Health and Safety Certification
National Construction Safety Officer Certification, NCSO (An asset)

Compétences et connaissances :
Lois et règlements provinciaux canadiens en matière de santé et sécurité au travail, avec une connaissance spécifique des normes de l'Ontario, du Québec, de l'Alberta et de la Colombie-Britannique.

Excellentes compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles ; capacité à interagir et à influencer efficacement à tous les niveaux de l'organisation Witron.
Capacité à promouvoir une philosophie de sécurité solide et à mettre en œuvre des programmes visant à changer efficacement les comportements et à prévenir les blessures.
Capacité à apprendre et à résoudre de manière indépendante diverses situations et problèmes difficiles en prenant des décisions opportunes.
Capacité à voyager à l'échelle nationale et internationale vers différentes destinations pour la formation et la découverte des sites internationaux de Witron.
Permis de conduire valide et passeport canadien valide avec possibilité de voyager à l'international.

Formation et expérience :
Le candidat retenu devra posséder un diplôme en Santé et Sécurité au Travail,Statut actuel de Professionnel de la Sécurité Agréé du Canada (PSAC) ou capacité à obtenir la désignation au cours de la première année d'embauche
Certification en Santé et Sécurité
Certification nationale d'officier de sécurité de la construction, NCSO (un atout)
