Salary Range: 50k-70k

The Health and Safety Coordinator supports and promotes WITRON’s established health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment across all site operations. This traveling position is responsible for daily safety walks, managing training and compliance documentation, conducting orientations, tracking PPE and equipment, and investigating incidents. The role also includes weekly and monthly safety reporting, subcontractor oversight, and support during audits and planning meetings. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about workplace safety in an industrial or construction environment.   

  

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Conduct daily safety observation walks to identify hazards and ensure compliance.  

  • Manage site safety documentation, including training records and permits (e.g., hot work).  

  • Oversee PPE and safety asset inventory and distribution.  

  • Investigate safety incidents and near misses, track actions, and follow up on corrective measures.  

  • Participate in and report on weekly GU planning meetings.  

  • Debrief on weekly minutes and safety concerns.  

  • Compile and submit the weekly safety reports.  

  • Deliver Toolbox Talks to reinforce site-specific safety themes.  

  • Manage and track badge distribution and access.  

  • Conduct subcontractor safety walks (minimum twice per week).  

  • Review subcontractor certifications and equipment inventory for compliance.  

  • Maintain incident responder rosters.  

  • Update and maintain the site safety board.  

  • Ensure the site contact list is accurate and accessible.  

  • Participate in phase planning with construction and operations teams.  

  • Review and contribute to the quarterly time-off and staffing plan. 

  

Education & Experience 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety coordinator or equivalent role, preferably in an industrial or construction environment.  

  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.  

  • OSHA 30 preferred. 

  • Experience conducting training, incident investigations, and writing reports.  

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.  

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with multiple stakeholders.  

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. 

  

Scheduling & Travel 

  • Flexibility to work shifts 1st and 2nd shift - operate 7 days a week  

  • 90% travel required   

 

Physical Requirements  

  • Work at heights of up to 80-100 feet 

  • Continuous walking, climbing and standing 

  • Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 lbs.

 Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an electrical and/or mechanical role; construction experience preferred.
  • Associate degree in Industrial Technology or Electronic Engineering preferred.
  • Experience with material handling systems in light industry or distribution environments is a plus.
 Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong electrical skills (3-Phase, 480V, DC, and 24V controls) and mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with drive technology (motors/gears) and control systems (PLC, inverters).

As a International Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the flow of goods from international suppliers to U.S. facilities. Salary Range: $60k-$70k

The Mechatronics Technician is responsible for the completion of on-site support, maintenance, refurbishment, and installation of electromechanical equipment at customer locations.  Technicians are responsible for inspecting existing equipment providing feedback to the customer for actual condition of their system as well as provide a recommended action plan to properly maintain the machinery.  Technicians are also responsible for refurbishing, repairing, and testing existing electromechanical machinery as well as installation of new equipment.

 

As a MechatronicsTechnician, you will:

  • Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision
  • Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components

  • Required: High school diploma with at 1-2 years experience in relevant electrical and/or mechanical role
  • Preferred: Associates degree in industrial technology or related field with 2-4 years experience in relevant electrical and/mechanical role
  • Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution center environment strongly preferred

As a Technical Service Specialist you will be responsible for helping facilitate the maintenance of an automated material handling system at all our US sites. In this position, you will mentor and coach the site maintenance teams and provide support to the Maintenance Manager in the day-to-day operations of the system. The PLC Commissioner serves as the primary Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) technical expert for the support of WITRON’s proprietary automated material handling systems. Collaborating with global business partners and onsite service teams, a successful PLC Specialist will design, test, troubleshoot, and maintain various PLC systems and their related technology.

 

As a PLC Comissioner, you will: 

  • Design, program, test, and resolve faults for PLC-related architecture for automated material handling applications
  • Collaborate with various internal IT professionals to understand the complex nature of WITRON’s robust digital infrastructure and its application to practical solutions for its customers
  • Work with onsite teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Analyze and proffer solutions for new system designs or redesigns of existing systems
  • Approach all tasks with an efficiency and efficacy mindset
  • Act as the SME for all PLC related automation issues
  • Provide critical PLC support for the installation and startup of new WITRON systems
  • Travel extensively in support of onsite team

Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or closely related field preferred; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with PLC programming, especially in industrial applications, is a plus
  • Previous electrical experience is a plus

Requirements: 

  • Basic knowledge of industrial automation

As an IT Programmer, you will:

  • Working together with the responsible project lead to create technical designs for our existing WiWMS (Witron Warehouse Management System) applications. Areas of work include for example our host interface, order allocation logic, route planning logic, industrial label printer interface, stock management and limited front end.
  • Development, testing, and deployment of change requests, projects, assignments in a collaborative international team environment or working individually on isolated issues.

Salary Range: $71,500k- $72,000k

As an UI Developer, you will:

  • Working together with the responsible project lead to create technical designs for our existing WiWMS (Witron Warehouse Management System) applications. Areas of work include for example our web interface tools, development of new tools and applications for internal and customer use, troubleshooting and improving existing C# solutions and working on change requests for our international customer portfolio.
  • Development, testing, and deployment of change requests, projects, assignments in a collaborative international team environment or working individually on isolated issues.
  • If you see something, say something: Supporting and improving existing and/or new applications and functionalities.
  • Creation of technical documents and specifications for an end user and developer level.
  • Collaborating with our analysts on topics that come up during project ramp-up, development, testing and after final acceptance.
  • All hands on deck during on-site project commissioning and ramp-up. You’ll be working on north American based projects (USA and Canada).
  • Communication with clients in respected field and independent decision-making based on knowledge level.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in .NET Framework and C++/C# programming
  • Some knowledge of basic database queries and selects.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both local and international colleagues and customers in English, across technical and non-technical contexts.
  • Great attitude towards solving big problems and a “Can-Do” attitude.
  • Helpful but not required: Exposure to logistics industry / terminology.
  • Helpful but not required: Exposure to large codebases.

Education & Experience:

  • We value team players, practical experience, problem-solving ability, “Can do”-Attitude and a great personality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience combined with some educational experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Experience should include project design, coding, testing, delivery and technical documentation of GitHub projects, or personal coding examples, class projects or previous professional assignments.
  • Logistics exposure is helpful but not required.

Travel:

  • Projects are all over the globe and so is the need see your work in action: Must be able to travel locally and internationally (up to 20%).
