The program starts annually in mid-July and last for three years.
The apprenticeship combines practical training at the headquarters in Parkstein and at our international project sites as well as theoretical training. When you pass the final examination, you have a vocational qualification that is recognized throughout Germany.:
Practical training:
• Training in different programming languages (e.g. C#, DB/SQL, C++)
• Learning about developing tools
• Creating data bases, documentations and programs
• Testing, analyzing, planning and realization of software solutions
Theoretical training:
• Intensive German language courses
• Vocational School (12 weeks per year)

I look forward to welcoming you to the IT team. At WITRON, we promote specialists, generalists and managers among our own employees. I will support you at the beginning of your apprenticeship with basic trainings in the different programming languages and choose a specialization in IT together with you. Your team will provide you with help and advice, familiarize you with your area of responsibility, and thus gradually turn you into a specialist so that you can later successfully implement your own solutions on site at our European customers.

As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to explore the world and become a programmer. I am lucky that Witron has given me the opportunity to make my dreams come true. In addition - the opportunity to learn the language, make new friends and the perspective for development; various career paths made my decision quite clear. The projects Witron is working on are huge, but that should not discourage you! For me personally, it is motivating because I know that there is always something new and interesting to learn. In addition to programming, my department's tasks include helping our customers to implement their requirements, designing visualizations or software, working with databases, or checking products in stock - where and how they should be handled. Each successive year brings new challenges, there is no doubt that each one is difficult - especially for an international trainee - but it has its own charm. Success always feels good, sometimes it just takes a little courage to take that first step.
