Women and technology?

That works!

On 27 April, the aim was once again to inspire girls and young women to take up technical professions. This year we were again at Girls' Day and were able to welcome 14 girls to Parkstein.

They were able to take a look behind the scenes of our logistics facilities, how they are built and how they work.

They also learned more about our apprenticeships and were given a guided tour of our company premises. Strengthened by lunch in our in-house restaurant, the participants were of course also allowed to lend a hand themselves and get a taste of the apprenticeships of metalworker, electronics technician and mechatronics technician.

Together with our trainees, for example, they wired control cabinets or built a small conveyor system. We were pleased that each of the participants wanted to actively get to know the world of logistics systems. And in the end, everyone agreed: technology is not just for boys!
