On course for success with passion and skill

New apprentices at WITRON

On 2 September, an exciting chapter began for almost 90 new trainees of the WITRON Group: Their first year of training. In addition to dual students, international talents are also among the new entrants. This start of training once again highlights WITRON's outstanding commitment to the professional development and intensive support of its junior staff.

On the first working day, the new trainees were warmly welcomed at a festive kick-off event. In addition to the dedicated training team, the training officers and the trainers, Managing Director Johannes Meißner (WITRON Logistik + Informatik GmbH) also took the opportunity to personally welcome the young trainees.

Successful recruitment despite limited training places

Particularly noteworthy: Despite a limited number of planned training places, WITRON was able to take on almost 90 young men and women in a wide variety of training occupations due to the high quality of the applications. ‘Our training is a win-win situation: WITRON gains motivated young talent, and the trainees benefit from our expertise, cultural diversity and international experience,’ says WITRON HR Manager Fabian Rösel.

International training as a model for success

Another highlight is the international training, which has been an integral part of WITRON's programme for over ten years. This year, six international trainees from the USA, Canada, England and Ukraine are starting their careers at WITRON.  In addition, four talented young people from El Salvador will also be joining the programme. Last year, WITRON welcomed young people from El Salvador for the first time and is looking forward to continuing the successful cooperation with the employment agency this year. Over the last few years, WITRON has already trained over 80 young talents from a wide variety of countries.

Foundation for global career opportunities

Training at WITRON provides a solid foundation for numerous career paths. After successful completion, graduates can work not only in Germany, but also at the global service locations and at many project locations worldwide. WITRON thus creates a wide range of prospects for long-term professional development and at the same time strengthens the future of the company.
